Aussie Arc

What started as a project called 'Devil Ark' that focused on saving the iconic, endangered Tasmanian Devil in 2011 has since grown tenfold due to its overwhelming success and the now rebranded Aussie Ark is dedicated to conserving and protecting native wildlife.

Bringing long-term future for Australia’s Threatened wildlife.

Aussie Ark is NSW’s largest independently owned and operated conservation organisation. Nestled high above the stunningly beautiful – heritage-listed Barrington Tops of NSW, the landscape provides a sanctuary for many threatened Australian Native mammal species, such as the Tasmanian Devil, Eastern Quoll and Long–Nosed Potoroo. This safe location offers the ideal environment for the eventual reintroduction into the wild for many animals. To maintain the integrity of ecosystems in the area, Aussie Ark also works on protecting native fauna found within their existing sanctuaries, including 50 species of mammals, 278 species of birds, 42 species of reptiles and 18 types of frogs.
Aussie Ark is committed to practical, outcome-based conservation efforts using proven methods based on science specifically for Australian wildlife. Core activities such as building insurance populations, fire management, fox and feral cat exclusion, weed eradication, rewilding and wildlife translocations are but some of the many tasks taken out to ensure the longevity of all species. With fantastic projects currently operating, such as a state-of-the-art turtle breeding facility located on the Australian Reptile Park’s site, as well as their goal to plant 100,000 trees through the Mongo Valley and Barrington Sanctuary sites and many other worthwhile causes, they are working hard to safeguard the future of endangered Australian fauna. We at Erth Points are excited to be able to offer a more direct, collaborative and straightforward way to help Aussie Ark’s supporters help fund their great projects and ensure the longevity of native speices
